Nan and the Louvre

I'd already mentioned how much I love this photo by Nan Goldin.

This weekend, I finally got around to seeing the show.

I can't emphasize how incredibly beautiful it is.

Nan was able to spend time in the Louvre off-hours, barefoot, shooting. The resulting images and their pairings are artistic and stunning. I can't recommend the show enough.

The big collages are editions of 1, and when I overheard the price range, I nearly passed out. Guess I'll just be looking at these online, and hopefully at least one more time in the gallery.
